ViVa! Vienna! Offers Cash Prize For T-Shirt Design Contest

VIENNA, VA—With ViVa! Vienna! Memorial Day Festival about a month away, the Rotary Club of Vienna has opened a contest to gather potential designs for a commemorative T-shirt.

The contest, open to Vienna area high school students, has a $750 prize. The winner's design will be featured on a T-shirt and sold at ViVa! Vienna! All proceeds of T-shirt sales benefit Fisher House Foundation, which supports military families.

Submitted T-shirt designs should depict ViVa! Vienna! and must be hand-drawn and original art. The art should be submitted in a 12 inch x 12 inch or 24 inch x 24 inch form. Designs must not use no more than six colors and no gradient colors. Small details that may fill in when the T-shirts are printed are discouraged. The ViVa! Vienna name and logo will be printed below the winning design on T-shirts.

Designs should be submitted as an attachment to ViennaRotaryClubContests@gmail.com. Your name, email address and phone number must be included in the email. Entries are due by Friday April 26. The winner will be notified no later than May 15.

ViVa! Vienna! will be held May 25-27 and is coordinated by the Rotary Club of Vienna. The winner will receive his or her prize on the Town Green on Monday, May 27.
