Weird Crime Of The Week: Donuts Dumped Into Vienna Truck Bed

We think police weren't too happy to see all of the wasted donuts.

Vienna Police received a call in the last week they "donut" think they'll forget.

A resident called police to the 500 Block Walker Street SW for a garbage bag full of donuts dumped into his truck bed. The strange incident likely happened this week after Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.

While it wasn't one of their more serious investigations, police had fun sharing the details of the incident. The police reports states "the officer was upset to discover that the donuts were no longer edible." Upon further "investigation," police found some donuts near the storm drain, and it appeared wild animals got to feast on a few.
