VIENNA, VA—Halloween has come and gone, so that means Christmas is coming out in full force. If you're in the holiday spirit, one of Northern Virginia's favorite traditions returns this week.
The Winter Walk of Lights at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna will hold its grand opening Friday, Nov. 10. Every year from November until Jan. 7, 2018, the garden is transformed into a half-mile, festive walk of lights. It's quite popular among locals, as 75,000 visited the display last year.
Upon arrival, visitors can see favorites such as the Lakeside Lights, the Fountain of Lights, and the Holiday Nature Walk while checking out new displays. Then finish off the visit by roasting marshmallows and enjoying a hot drink by the fire.
