Woman Awakens to Burglar in Vienna Area Home

Fairfax County Police say incident took place at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday. See map below for location.

Fairfax County Police say that a Vienna area resident awoke Tuesday in the middle of the night to find a burglar in her home.

The burglary took place at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 8500 block of Wedderburn Station Drive (see map below).

A resident reported she awoke to find someone standing outside her bedroom, police said. The suspect fled. Police said the burglar took property from the home.

Police described the suspect as black, between the ages of 18 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build. He wore a blue hoodie and blue jeans, according to police.
