Women's March on Washington [PHOTOS]
Huge surge of participants at the Wiehle Station Metro in Reston and the Clarendon Metro Station in Arlington Saturday, Jan. 22.

VIENNA, VA -- This morning I was part of a volunteer sister (and brother) group for the Women's March On Washington, distributing packaged snacks to marchers getting on the Clarendon Station Metro. I live in Reston and tried to get started early at the Wiehle Station Metro.
That wide open plaza was totally crowded with marchers! The train cars were packed, but everyone was peaceful and cordial! I took many images, with the permission of the marchers, at the Wiehle Station and later at the Clarendon Station. I also took some images of the volunteers, who were so glad to help out and encourage the marchers. I would like to share my professional images with the Patch as eager marchers were planning to board the Metro trains on their way to Washington, D.C.

Thank you Patch for the marvelous live feed in Washington. I thought the interviews were very well done considering the interviews were videotaped live and walking with the marchers!
