Rababeh and Samir Rababeh (usda.gov) — A Warrenton-based business, Rababeh Halal Meat Inc., doing business as Lebanese Butcher Shop, faces a USDA complaint for allegedly failing to maintain required bond coverage and pay over $1.3 million for livestock purchases. The federal action under the Packers and Stockyards Act could lead to cease-and-desist orders or other penalties, and the full amount was reportedly still unpaid when the complaint was filed.
