Police Identify Homicide Victim at Skyline Towers Building

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police Tuesday night identified a homicide victim found shot to death in at apartment at Skyline Towers as Babtunde Fadahunsi, 35.

Police said they have notified Fadahunsi’s next of kin after they began investigating the scene at the condo/apartment complex at 5597 Seminary Road in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County.

Detectives have reason to believe that this was not a random event, police said. There is no suspect information, police said, but detectives will continue their investigation throughout the night.

Police were called at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday after a security guard found Fadahunsi in an apartment. “It appears it was not self-inflicted, that there was some type of foul play,” said police spokesman Officer Roger Henriquez said.

The area is in Fairfax County borders the City of Alexandria and Arlington County.
