$5,000 Reward Offered For Info About Fatal Woodbridge Shooting
The Prince William County Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information about a fatal shooting on Oct. 28 in Woodbridge.

WOODBRIDGE, VA —Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for more information about who was responsible for a fatal shooting that occurred on Oct. 28 in Woodbridge.
Milton Humberto Escalante Escobar, an 18-year-old from Woodbridge, died in the shooting.
The Prince William County Police Department said the shooting does not appear to be random. Authorities will give the reward in exchange for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

The police department has not identified any potential suspects in the shooting. Investigators do not have a physical description of any suspects either.

The shooting occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28 in the 13900 block of Route 1 in Woodbridge. Officers found one person in a business's parking lot providing first aid to the victim who was suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers began providing first aid until emergency medical personnel arrived and took the victim to a hospital, authorities said. Escalante Escobar died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.
Investigators believe someone fired gunshots in the woods behind the business, striking Escalante Escobar. A vehicle drove away after the shooting, according to the police report.
