FBI Offers Reward for Tips on Lake Ridge Bank Robbery

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information from the public about a bank robbery last week in Lake Ridge.

The robbery took place on Thursday, July 2, at the PNC Bank inside the Giant grocery store at 12445 Hedges Run Drive, in the Lake Ridge Commons shopping center. There were no injuries in the robbery, according to the Prince William County police.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot. He’s described by the Prince William police as a man of unknown race, with a light complexion, between 20 and 30 years of age, and 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall with a slender build.

The suspect was last seen wearing a gray and black North Face hooded jacket, dark-colored sunglasses, blue jeans and a black scarf covering his face, police said.

The Lake Ridge heist is one of four recent bank robberies in the Washington, D.C., region for which the FBI has posted a $5,000 reward. It’s asking the public for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of these robbers. The FBI requests the anyone with information to call 202-278-2000.
