Fitness Center To Host Fundraiser for Police Officers

The March 19 event at Crossfit Woodbridge is sponsored by the Virginia Police Benevolent Association.

A Woodbridge fitness center will be hosting a fundraiser and event honoring the three officers shot during a domestic disturbance call in February.

The Virginia Police Benevolent Association and Crossfit Woodbridge will be hosting a Hero Workout and fundraiser at 10 a.m. Satuday, March 19. You can register here.

Officer Ashley Guindon was killed. Officers Jesse Hempen and David McKeown were injured and both are recovering. Officer Hempen has confirmed that he will be at the event.

If you are unable to attend, you can still donate - 100 percent of the funds raised will go directly to the officers and their families.

  • one mile run
  • 5o pull ups
  • 40 wall balls (20#/14#)
  • 30 toes to bar
  • 20 burpees
  • 10 deadlifts (315#/225#)
  • one mile run

The workout can be scaled to fit your individual abilities.
