Four Arrested After Group Assault, Robbery In Woodbridge: Police

Prince William County police said the victim was meeting up with a woman at an apartment when three men approached him and assaulted him.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Four people are facing potential charges in connection with a group assault and robbery that took place at a Woodbridge apartment early Monday morning. Police allege that a 29-year-old man was at the apartment to meet with a woman when three men exited the apartment instead and assaulted him.

According to police, the victim had arranged to meet Desire M. Warthen at the apartment located in the 1300 block of Bayside Avenue. When the victim arrived, he was instead met by three men. The men took the money from his wallet, police said, before assaulting him.

The victim was eventually able to get away from the suspects and call police. Officers responded to the apartment and, following an investigation, arrested Malik S. Wilson, 26, of no fixed address; James J. Rastatter, 28, of Dale City; and Isaiah G. McGriff, 24, of Woodbridge. All three were identified as the suspects who robbed the victim, police said.
