According to a statement of facts filed with the plea agreement, Roland, known by the gang moniker “Boo,” participated in the May 13, 2013, carjacking of two individuals allegedly selling marijuana, the FBI field office said in a statement.

Later that evening, members of the Bloods street gang broke into the home of one of the carjacking victims. Two innocent bystanders were tied up and held at gunpoint, and one victim was sexually assaulted, according to the FBI statement.

In addition, Roland and his co-conspirators threw bricks through the windows of another home and then fired gunshots into the dwelling, which was occupied at the time, the field office said.

Along with the FBI’s Washington Field Office, this case was investigated by the Prince William County Police Department, the Northern Virginia Regional Gang Task Force and the Fairfax County Police Gang Unit, with assistance from the Prince William County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.
