Ink Spill Causes Big Backup on I-95 at Dale City: Media Reports
Rush hour snarled by cleanup following collision of two tractor-trailers.

A traffic jam up to six miles long occurred Thursday morning on northbound Interstate 95 as crews cleaned up printer ink spilled by a tractor-trailer, according to media reports.
The tractor-trailer overturned, losing its load of printer ink cartridges, just before midnight Wednesday after another tractor-trailer rear-ended it, radio station WTOP reported. The collision took place on northbound I-95 near exit 156A in Dale City.

Up to three lanes on I-95 were closed for hours during the morning rush as crews worked to clean up the mess. The backup stretched all the way back to the Route 234 exit, and the off-ramp to Dale Boulevard was closed for several hours.
The ramp was reopened shortly after 7:30 a.m., and the backup finally cleared up at about 9 a.m., according to media reports.
