Man Exposed Himself On A Bus In Woodbridge: Police

Authorities are still looking for a man who exposed himself and made inappropriate gestures while riding a bus in Woodbridge last week.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man exposed himself and made inappropriate gestures on a bus in Woodbridge last week, the Prince William County Police Department said.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities did not say how many people were on the bus during the indecent exposure.

Investigators described the suspect as a Black man in his late 20s or early 30s. He is about 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a face mask, a dark colored cap, a white camouflage colored puffer-style jacket, and dark colored pants.

Indecent exposure is a class 1 misdemeanor in Virginia. According to sentencing guidelines, anyone convicted of the crime could spend up to one year in jail.

The incident occurred on Dec. 12 around 4:30 p.m., according to the police report. A Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission bus driver said they were near Opitz Boulevard and Richmond Highway when they saw a male passenger expose himself. The passenger was also making inappropriate gestures.

The bus driver stopped shortly after he noticed the passenger, police said. The suspect then exited the bus and ran away.
