The Southeast Section of the National Association of University Women is organizing the first Northern Virginia branch for the organization. Community service, networking and leadership are the pillars of the national group of college educated women who hold at least a bachelors degree. NAUW was founded in Washington, DC in 1910, where the original College Alumnae Club branch and the national headquarters is located. There are five sections of NAUW.
