Each week, Prince William County Animal Shelter spotlights an animal ready for adoption.
Freckles is pit bull mix picked up as a stray on Christmas Day. And he's not a fan of the shelter lifestyle.

Freckles is a 1 yr old, 50 lb. neutered male. He's a pit bull/ heeler mix who has lots of energy and loves to give kisses! He's affectionate and playful - loves tennis balls and tug-of-war and getting his belly rubs in the warm springtime sun. He's very smart and sits when he's told - he might do well with agility training or be a great jogging companion! He certainly has the energy for it! He has shown himself to be good with both cats and other dogs.
Freckles had a touch of demodex on his back, but it's all clear now and the patches are growing their hair back nicely!

This is a really great dog who's getting passed by because he's not so great at shelter life. Come and meet him and help him get outta here! (You will need to ask at the front desk as he's being helped by not being in the normal adoptable dog runs)
Can you help to grant Freckles his Christmas wish? If he's not for you, please like or share to help Freckles can find the home he deserves!!
