Brandon Curtis Hampton Henry (in photo), of no fixed address, stabbed two men on the night of July 9 in the 15000 block of Cloverdale Road as one of them tried to break up a fight between Henry and the other man, according to Prince William County police.

The victims were brothers-in-law. Alvin Elroy Cannon, 44, died shortly after being taken to the hospital. Cannon’s brother-in-law survived.

The Alford plea entered by Henry is not an admission of guilt, but an admission that there is probably enough evidence to convict. Commonwealth’s Attorney Paul Ebert, Prince William’s top prosecutor, confirmed the plea deal on Thursday, according to a report by WRC-TV Channel 4.

After the stabbing incident, Henry was tracked down and arrested at a home in the 14400 block of Fillarette Street, police said.
