Police: Domestic Dispute Leads to Arrest

Prince William County police arrested a Dale City man on Monday night for attempted malicious wounding following a domestic dispute.

Doron Rashad Fields (in photo above), 32, of the 13500 block of Princedale Drive, is being held without bond in the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center. His court date is pending, according to a Prince William police report.

At 10:47 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a residence in the 13500 block of Princedale Drive to investigate a domestic assault, the police report said.

The victim, a 33-year-old Woodbridge woman, reported to police that she and Fields, a known acquaintance, got into a verbal argument that escalated. During the encounter, Fields assaulted the victim and pushed her into a nearby wall.

At that point, Fields displayed a knife and held it up to the victim’s throat before striking the wall above her with the knife, police said. No injuries were reported.

Following the investigation, Fields was arrested without incident, police said.
