Police Looking for Suspect in Violent Dispute
Woodbridge woman pushed another woman down stairs, say Prince William County police.

Prince William police are searching for a Woodbridge woman who allegedly pushed another woman down a flight of stairs on Saturday and then assaulted her.
Kerry Lynn Johnson, 32, of 15529 Wigeon Way, has been charged with malicious wounding, according to a police report. She is described by police as white, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds with a thin build, blonde hair and blue eyes.

At 4:38 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a residence in the 15000 block of Greenmount Drive in Woodbridge to investigate an assault.

They found out that Johnson came to the victim’s home to confront her about an ongoing dispute, according to the police report. During the encounter, Johnson pushed the victim, a 34-year-old woman, down a flight of stairs and then began to assault her.
The victim suffered minor injuries, and Johnson left the area before police arrived. Officers obtained a warrant for Johnson’s arrest.
