Prince William County Police: Have You Seen This Man?

The Prince William County police are searching for a Wodbridge man who allegedly assaulted an 18-year-old woman Friday during an hours-long argument.

When the argument moved outside the apartment of the suspect, Taylor Aaron Sickmen, on Friday night, a witness intervened to separate the two, the police said. At that point, Sickmen fled on foot and the police were contacted.

Sickmen, 20, of 1367 East Longview Drive, Apt. #7, is wanted for abduction and assault and battery, according to a police report. He’s described by police as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, with short brown hair, blue eyes, a goatee and tattoos on his chest.

At 10:24 p.m. Friday, police officers responded to the report of an assault at Sickmen’s apartment. The victim, who is from Burke, told police that she and Sickmen, a known acquaintance, had been arguing throughout most of the day.

On multiple occasions, Sickmen allegedly forced the victim into a vehicle and assaulted her, the police report said. The altercation continued at his apartment, where he allegedly held the victim against her will and continued the assault. Minor injuries were reported.

After responding to the scene, officers obtained warrants for Sickmen’s arrest.
