Second Man Arrested In Robbery, Shooting In Woodbridge: Police
The suspect is one of three men who allegedly robbed and shot a man who won $39,000 at the MGM Grand Casino in Maryland.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Prince William County Police officers arrested a suspect Tuesday wanted in connection with a Dec. 19 robbery and shooting in Woodbridge that left a man seriously injured, the police department said Thursday. Another suspect is already being held in the Fairfax County jail. A third suspect in the case still has not been found.
The suspect arrested Tuesday, Daquan Artis Tinker, 23, of Washington, D.C. is facing several charges, including one count of aggravated malicious wounding, two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and two counts of armed robbery.
The police are still looking for Tavon Everett Lee Vines, 27, of D.C., who is wanted on the same charges as Tinker. Vines is described as a black male, five-feet, nine-inches tall and 165 pounds. The suspect currently being held in the Fairfax County jail is Javontae Renard Smallwood, also of D.C.

The three men allegedly robbed the man who was seriously injured and an acquaintance of $42,000 in winnings from MGM Grand Casino in Oxon Hill, Maryland, the Washington Post reported.
On Dec. 19, Prince William police officers responded to a call about shots fired at 1:43 a.m. in the 4700 block of Pearson Drive in Woodbridge. When the officers arrived, they saw the victim in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound and assault wounds. Responding police officers provided immediate first aid to the victim until fire and rescue personnel arrived and the victim was flown to a local hospital.

During their investigation, the police learned that the victim and an acquaintance had just returned to Woodbridge after being at the MGM Grand Casino at National Harbor in Maryland. As they exited the car, they were approached by multiple masked men who had just pulled into a driveway behind them.
Tinker, Vines and Smallwood are accused of following the victim and the acquaintance to the Pearson Drive area where they robbed the victims. During the encounter, the victim was shot and seriously injured. The suspects took $39,000 from him. The victim who was transported to an area hospital has since recovered and has been released.
One of the suspects pulled a gun on his acquainance, a 44-year-old man, and forced him to lie on the ground before taking $3,000 from him, according to the search warrant. The acquaintance was not injured.
