Second Suspect In Dumfries Hotel Shooting Arrested: Police

The suspect was arrested in connection with an Aug. 19 shooting and burglary that happened at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Dumfries.

DUMFRIES, VA — Prince William County Police have arrested and charged a second man in connection with an Aug. 19 shooting at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Dumfries. Police arrested 22-year-old Jordan Nicholas Nair on multiple warrants, including robbery and malicious wounding.

Police also arrested 20-year-old Leonard C. Gaskins of Woodbridge last month for his alleged role in the incident. Police are also searching for a third suspect named Khalil Trevis Randolph, according to a release, but attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

The arrests stem from a shooting that happened at the hotel located at 16931 Old Stage Rd., injuring a 30-year-old Woodbridge man. Police responded to the hotel just after 11:30 a.m.

At the time, the investigation revealed the victim was involved in an altercation with two unknown males, during which he was shot in the arm. The victim later went to an area hospital where he was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Nair is facing potential charges of robbery, malicious wounding, conspiracy to commit a felony, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His first court appearance was not provided.
