Serial Armed Robbers Busted In Woodbridge: Police

Two men and a juvenile male were arrested Monday for a string of armed robberies in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two men and a juvenile male were arrested Monday for a string of armed robberies in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police. The latest robbery — and the one that led to their arrest — was Monday at the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission (PRTC) terminal, 14700 Potomac Mills Road.

Charles Leonard Gaskins, 18, of the 1300 block of Cranes Bill Way in Woodbridge, was charged with six counts of robbery, six counts of conspiracy to commit a robbery and six counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Aariq Michael Nedd, 18, of the 15400 block of Marsh Overlook Drive, was charged with five counts of robbery, four counts of conspiracy to commit a robbery and three counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony. The juvenile, 17, was charged with six counts of robbery, six counts of conspiracy to commit a robbery and six counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Around noon, police went to the PRTC terminal for a reported robbery. A 15-year-old said he was waiting for a bus when he was approached by two acquaintances. One of them whipped out a gun and demanded the victim's cellphone, took it and the two fled. Shortly afterward, a witness spotted them at a nearby business and called police, who arrived and arrested Nedd and the juvenile.

Further investigation found the two, as well as Gaskins, were involved in several other such robberies in the area going back to October. A warrant was obtained for Gaskins, who was arrested at his home.
