Shooting Injures Teen In Dale City

Prince William County Police are seeking a suspect in a shooting with one injury in Dale City Wednesday.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A shooting investigation is underway Wednesday afternoon after a teen was injured in Dale City, according to Prince William County Police.

The shooting happened around 3:25 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Benita Fitzgerald Drive and Brickwood Drive. Police found one injured person in the home, a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Police continue to investigate the shooting. A four-door vehicle was seen leaving the area after the gunshots. Police do not believe the shooting was random.
