Toddler Wanders Into Street While Dad Sleeps In Woodbridge
A man arrested Sunday night after falling asleep while his 2-year-old child wandered the streets alone in Woodbridge: PWC Polilce
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man arrested Sunday night after falling asleep while his 2-year-old child wandered the streets alone, according to Prince William County Police. John Daniel, 30, of the 4500 block of Kingston Road, was charged with felony child neglect.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., police responded to the 13300 block of Kelsey Court to investigate a "found child." A man said he was standing outside his residence when he saw a small young child walking in the middle of the road without supervision. He tried to locate the parents before calling police.
While investigating that incident, police received a report of a missing child on Kingston Road. They found tht the father fell asleep and woke to find the child missing and the front door open.
