Rep. Eugene Vindman To Join Business-Focused Town Hall In Woodbridge

Rep. Eugene Vindman will participate in a chamber-hosted town hall on federal policies and economic impacts on businesses.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Rep. Eugene Vindman (D-Prince William) will join a town hall in Woodbridge focused on federal issues affecting minority-owned businesses and entrepreneurs in Northern Virginia.

The Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce will host the town hall with Vindman on Friday, Aug. 22, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Betanya Ethiopian Restaurant, 14827 Buildamerica Dr., Woodbridge, VA. The event is free and open to chamber members and the public, but registration is required.

"This Townhall offers a valuable opportunity for our members and community to hear directly from Congressman Vindman and engage in conversations that impact our businesses and local economy," said Tonya Poindexter, board chair of the Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce . "By creating these spaces for dialogue, we ensure that our business community’s perspectives influence policies that shape the future of Northern Virginia’s economic landscape."

According to the chamber, the town hall will address challenges small businesses and minority-owned businesses are facing with federal policies and changing market conditions as well as opportunities for growth. Vindman, a freshman congressman representing the seventh congressional district, will share his insights on federal policies as well as resources to help the business community.

The event is presented by the chamber's Advocacy Committee, with is chaired by Prince William County Supervisor Margaret Angela Franklin (D-Woodbridge).
