Two Motels Robbed at Gunpoint in Woodbridge Area: Police

Prince William County Police say masked men entered the lodgings, flashed guns and demanded cash.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two Woodbridge-area motels were robbed by two men a little more than an hour apart early Tuesday morning with striking similarities in the incidents save for the description of one suspect, according to Prince William County Police.

In the first incident, shortly after midnight, police responded to a report of a robbery at the Ramada Inn at 4316 Inn Street in Triangle. The front desk clerk told police two masked men approached the desk, with one flashing a gun, demanded money and fled on foot after stealing cash, a cell phone and keys.

In the second incident, shortly after 1:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at the Quality Inn at 1109 Horner Road in Woodbridge. The front desk clerk told police two masked men approached the desk, with one flashing a gun, demanded money and fled on foot after the theft.

After the first incident, the suspects were described as two black males with thin builds and wearing black hooded sweatshirts and scarves covering their faces.

After the second incident, one suspect was described as a white male, around 20, with a thin build and wearing a gray sweatshirt, tan pants, a black mask and green Nike shoes; the other, a black male, around 20, with a thin build and wearing a black sweatshirt with dark jeans, a black mask and white shoes.
