Woman Caught in Crossfire During Gunfight in Triangle: Police
She was shot in the lower body with injuries that aren't life threatening: Prince William County Police. One man wanted; another arrested.
TRIANGLE, VA — A woman apparently caught in the crossfire was shot during a gunfight Wednesday night in the 3600 block of Wharf Lane, according to Prince William County Police.
The woman, 20, found shot in the lower body, was flown to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
Wanted by police for malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony is JaShaun Ervin McQueen, 19, of the 18100 block of Kilmer Lane.

Arrested at the scene was Roy Reginald Gates, 29, of the 18100 block of Kilmer Lane, who was charged with reckless handling of a firearm and brandishing a firearm.
Shortly before 6:15 p.m., police responded to investigate a shooting in progress, where they found the injured a woman.

Their investigation found that two men involved in a fight whipped out guns and began shooting at each other, and a nearby residence was struck by a bullet.
Both suspects fled, and the search is on for McQueen.
