Woodbridge Man Charged With Sexual Assault of Minor
Suspect arrested Wednesday night without incident: Prince William County police.

Prince William County police arrested a Woodbridge man on Wednesday night and charged him with sexually assaulting a minor.
Rene Edguardo Campos, 51, of the 14400 block of Bakersfield Street, is charged with aggravated sexual battery, according to a police report. He’s being held without bond in the Prince William-Manassas regional jail, and his date in court is pending.

At 9:09 p.m. Wednesday, police officers were called to a residence in the 14400 block of Bakersfield Street to investigate a sexual assault. An acquaintance of Campos told police that Campos sexually assaulted the victim, a 9-year-old male juvenile, sometime between Friday, April 24, and Tuesday, the police report said.
Following the investigation, the police located and arrested Campos without incident.
