Repairing instrument on the fly helps BHS Band win competition (bainbridgereview.com) — Bainbridge High School's marching band turned a near‑disaster into a win after coaches and parents rebuilt a shattered marimba on the spot before finals at the Peninsula Classic. With the repaired "Phoenix" back in action, the Spartans captured first place in Division A plus top music and percussion honors, and students say the result reflects strong teamwork, leadership and an unusually prepared freshman class.
