📰 News we're reading

• Popular Pierce Co. lake had 'unusually low' water levels this year. Here's why (thenewstribune.com) — Lake Tapps' unusually low water levels this year forced closure of Bonney Lake's main boat launches and will soon drop further as Cascade Water Alliance begins its winter drawdown. Residents are urged to pull boats and shoreline property before levels fall more, with next summer's conditions depending heavily on winter and spring precipitation.
