• Eastside Arts Partnership Support Grants (Washington) (fundsforngos.org) — Eastside arts nonprofits based in or serving Bothell can now apply for Bellevue's Eastside Arts Partnership grants, with awards up to $15,000 for public programming. Eligible 501(c)(3) groups must be Eastside-based, offer at least one program open to Bellevue residents, and can also pursue a bonus grant aimed at expanding equitable access to arts and culture. 
• T-Mobile lays off 77 WA workers, closes stores (seattletimes.com) — T-Mobile plans to close a Bothell store and lay off some of its 77 Washington workers this fall, which could affect local jobs and wireless customers. The Bellevue-based carrier is shutting several stores statewide and trimming roles ranging from mobile experts to senior analysts as it adjusts to what it calls changing business needs.
• Best colleges in WA? UW Seattle, Gonzaga and WSU ranked (thenewstribune.com) — UW Bothell earns recognition from U.S. News & World Report as one of the best regional universities in the West, giving local students a strong option close to home. The rankings also highlight UW Seattle and other Washington campuses, using graduation rates, debt, and academic quality to help families compare in-state choices.
