• Notice a crane above the Gig Harbor waterfront this week? Here's what happened (thenewstribune.com) — Crews have finished removing the aging Jerkovich Pier on Gig Harbor's waterfront, clearing the way for construction of the city's new commercial fishing homeport at Ancich Waterfront Park.
