TACOMA, WA — The Pierce County Sheriff's Department released three photos Thursday, hoping to identify other newborns they believe were photographed by a woman accused in an attempted kidnapping plot.

Juliette Parker, 38, was arrested in Spanaway last week after authorities alleged she posed as a photographer and drugged a Pierce County mother as part of a plan to steal the mother's baby. Prosecutors charged Parker with assault and attempted kidnapping during a court appearance Tuesday. She pleaded not guilty.

Investigators said Parker posted advertisements for free photo services on a Facebook childbirth support group. Prosecutors allege she was searching for a baby to take and raise as her own.

During the investigation, detectives said they learned of at least three other women who had photos taken of their newborns. Detective Ed Troyer said close to a dozen women had already reached out to investigators to report they had communicated with Parker in the past.

The mother who said she was drugged by Parker told local media she now sleeps with a knife under her pillow and is terrified to let her children out of her sight.
