Lakewood Police Identify 2 Suspects In McChord Mart Killing
Investigators have named two men in connection with the October 14th killing of In Choe. One turned himself in Tuesday afternoon.

LAKEWOOD, WA — One man has turned himself in, and a second is still on the run after police named two suspects wanted in connection with the October killing of In Choe. According to Lakewood Police, 20-year-old Bonifacio Alvarez Reynolds drove 24-year-old Marcus L. Williams to the McChord Mart on October 14th, intending to commit a robbery. Police said Reynolds waited in a nearby car while Williams went inside and took money from the register.
Alvarez Reynolds turned himself in to Lakewood Police Tuesday afternoon. Williams, who police believe robbed and killed Choe, was still on the run.
Camera footage released Tuesday showed Choe fighting off a suspect, in an attempt to stop him from stealing money from a cash register. During the altercation, she was stabbed several times. Choe armed herself with a baton and chased the man out of the store. He fled on foot and escaped in the car waiting nearby.

Police said Choe attempted to leave the store in her car but died from her injuries in the parking lot. Surveillance video shows a passerby discovering her a few minutes later. After the killing, detectives said both men bragged about the robbery to the friend, who encouraged them to turn themselves in. Lakewood detectives said a DNA sample extracted from an item the suspect picked up in the store was matched to Williams.
Two murder warrants were issued on Friday. Investigators said the plan was to pick up the suspects during a DOC appointment Tuesday morning, but neither man showed. Anyone who sees Williams should call 911. A Crimestoppers bulletin describes Williams as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a star tattoo on his chest and the numbers "253" tattooed on his left wrist.
