• Lynden Christian cross country runs in home meet (lyndentribune.com) — Lynden runners packed the trails Wednesday as Lynden Christian hosted Bellingham and Mount Vernon on a 5K course looping through LC schools, Lynden City Park, and the Jim Kaemingk Sr. Trail. Local athletes like freshman Larkyn McConnell and senior Colby Honcoop were captured racing over Fishtrap Creek bridges and sprinting to the finish in a true hometown cross country showcase. 
• Obituary: Beth Tableman (thenorthernlight.com) — Lynden residents are remembering 78-year-old Beth Tableman, who moved here in her 70s to be closer to her grandchildren and built a full life of friends, books, mahjong, and knitting. Her family invites memorial donations to Christian Health Care Center in Lynden, which cared for her in her final months, with a celebration of life planned next spring in Maine.
