Puyallup Closes All City Parks Due To High Winds
As a strong storm approached peak strength, Puyallup city officials closed all parks and the river trail.

PUYALLUP, WA - The city of Puyallup closed all city parks on Friday afternoon as a strong wind storm approached the area. Wind gusts of up to 60 MPH could hit the area when the storm peaks this afternoon between 2 and 5 p.m. Gusts approaching 50 MPH were already being measured in the Puyallup area.
Due to high wind warnings and gusts, #Puyallup's parks are now closed until further notice. (Incl Riverwalk Trail)
