Puyallup Police Investigate Death Along Riverwalk Trail
The trail was closed Monday night amid an ongoing death investigation.
PUYALLUP, WA — Riverwalk Trail was closed Monday night as Puyallup detectives investigated a death in the area. KIRO 7 reported at least three fires had burned along the trail before the body was found. Puyallup PD said the trail would remain closed as the investigation continued.

According to Puyallup Police, a K9 track was underway at 8 p.m., and a helicopter and drone assisted in a search of the area. Shortly before 10 p.m., police announced the search had concluded. Investigators said it was too early to say for certain whether the death was caused by homicidal violence, an accident, or was self-inflicted.
