The cuts come amid wider 2026 tech layoffs at firms like TikTok, Etsy, and Zillow, with industry job losses already surpassing last year despite some companies reporting revenue growth. 
• Community Van offers flexible, affordable group transportation (redmond-reporter.com) — Redmond residents can now book King County Metro Community Vans for flexible, reservation-based group trips, 24/7, at standard Metro fares with free youth rides. Groups of two to twelve can travel up to two hours away, with Metro providing the van, fuel, insurance, maintenance, and volunteer drivers. Local coordinators can also help you plan trips or explore options.
