We all have something in our life that is perfect, especially in its imperfection. We love it exactly as it is. It may be a child, a river, a piece of jewelry. It is whole, complete, and fully real. We marvel, even revel in its mystery.
Do we know this of our own self? We all have feelings of imperfection.

As I lead a yoga practice, I see the effort made to touch hands to toes, for the fingertips to meet behind the back. Students express desires, fears and fustrations. I experience my own, wishing I could be the perfect messenger for this amazing path.
But what I really see is a room filled with beauty, grace and strength. It is not a being nor an entity, was not created and cannot be destroyed. It is the smooth mirror in which we each catch a glimpse of our own true nature.
