Free, Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing In Renton Saturday
Free COVID-19 tests are available this weekend, with help from Beyoncé's BeyGood initiative and the Somali Health Board.

RENTON, WA — King County public health officials have teamed up with Beyoncé and the Somali Health Board to offer two days of free COVID-19 testing in Renton and Federal Way.
The first event is scheduled Saturday at HealthPoint Renton, followed by a Sunday event at the Sea Mar Medical Clinic in Federal Way.

Pre-registration is not required, but patients will need to provide some basic information on-site. Care packages with essential supplies will be distributed courtesy of Matthew 25 Ministries and Procter & Gamble.
This weekend's tests are part of the nationwide #IDidMyPart initiative, seeking to help communities disproportionately affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
From the organizers' website:
"In order to provide accessible COVID-19 testing in South King County, where Black and brown communities are suffering disproportionately from coronavirus, King County is partnering with Ms. Tina Lawson and Beyoncé's BeyGood Team. We are offering two day drive-through COVID-19 testing and distributing essential supplies as part of the nationwide #IDidMyPart Initiative. Ms. Tina Lawson launched the initiative in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic in order to bring attention to the importance of testing, especially for Black and brown communities."
