3 Minor Earthquakes Rattle East King County In 24 Hours
A 3.4 magnitude quake near Fall City Wednesday night was followed by two other mild tremors early Thursday morning.
FALL CITY, WA — A magnitude 3.4 earthquake northeast of Fall City Wednesday night preceded two other minor quakes in the area Thursday morning. The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network said the first quake was recorded at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, and more than 1,300 people logged reports via the "Did You Feel It?" system.
A magnitude 3 quake was recorded in the same area at 4:41 a.m. More than 300 reported feeling the second tremor. A third earthquake in the area at 7:14 a.m. was confirmed as a magnitude 2.5, with just under three dozen reports of light shaking.
Two other earthquakes recorded in the area Thursday morning were under a magnitude of 2. Typically, any quake below a 2.5 will not be felt.

Three felt earthquakes in the past 24 hours NE of Fall City at depths of ~ 10 miles. A 3.4 at 7:10 pm has been reported felt by 1300 people so far, the 3.0 at 4:41 am has 307 felt reports, and 32 people reported the 2.5 as felt this morning.
