Police Shoot Man Suspected Of Being Involved In Beaver Lake Killing
A second suspect was taken into custody early Saturday morning.

SAMMAMISH, WA - A man who police suspected might be the person who killed a man at Beaver Lake Park on Wednesday was shot by police in Des Moines on Friday night.
Acting on a tip, King County Sheriff's deputies responded to an apartment along the 21600 block of 29th Avenue South in Des Moines last night. The suspect and another man - a 16-year-old - exited the apartment, and when they saw the officers, they pulled out handguns, police say. The officers fired on the men, and hit one of them. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
The 16-year-old fled, but was arrested early Saturday morning by a tactical team, although it's unclear if he was involved in the Beaver Lake killing.
