SCREENAGERS is a documentary about the impact of the digital age on kids and how to help them avoid harmful effects and find balance. The director takes an intensely personal approach as she probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including her own, to explore struggles over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction. Through poignant, and unexpectedly funny stories, along with surprising insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, SCREENAGERS reveals how tech time impacts kids’ development and offers solutions on how adults can empower young people to navigate best the digital world and find balance.

“We are all in this together with the primary goal of helping kids find balance. Given the pull of devices, this is challenging, and that is why we are coming together to share ideas and make positive changes in homes, schools, and communities,” says Nick Pringle, pastor of student ministries at Pine Lake Covenant Church.
