SEATTLE, WA — At least 70,000 fans are expected to pack CenturyLink field to cheer on the Seattle Sounders against Toronto FC for the MLS Cup Final Sunday, November 10th. This is the third time Seattle has appeared in the title match in the last four years. Seattle beat Toronto in 2016 in a penalty shootout, taking home the team's first MLS Cup. Toronto won the final against Seattle in 2017.

On the road to the championship, the Sounders beat FC Dallas, Real Salt Lake, and the number one rated Los Angeles FC. Toronto is undefeated in its last 13 matches. Tickets to the MLS Cup, which Seattle is hosting at home for the first time, were claimed just minutes after going on sale to the general public. The team expects to set an attendance record.

For fans taking part in the festivities, a rally begins at Occidental Park at 8 a.m. A march to the stadium starts at 10 a.m. Sound Transit has added extra trains to get fans to and from the game, but new tolls on the SR 99 tunnel, and an eastbound closure of SR 520 could cause headaches for drivers.
