Criminal Justice Class Series Coming To University Place
The police department will host a series of classes through April on various criminal justice issues.

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - The police department will kick off a series of classes next month focusing on local criminal justice issues. Speakers ranging from Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist to University Place Chief Mike Blair will speak on topics like protecting personal property, and the affects of legal marijuana.
The classes begin Feb. 27 and happen each Thursday at the police department from 1 to 4 p.m. The classes are open to citizens, business owners, students, and anyone else from the community interested in criminal justice issues
