Man Robs Pizza Hut, Forgets They Had His Phone Number On File
If you're going rob a pizza place, make sure it's one that you haven't ordered from before.

UNIVERSITY PLACE, WA - We all have our go-to pizza spot, right? Whether it's Domino's, the little joint down the street, whatever. Maybe they know your name, maybe they even know your usual order.
They definitely know your phone number.
A University Place robber forgot about that, however, when he took pizza and snacks at gunpoint from a Pizza Hut that he had ordered from before. The restaurant gave sheriff's deputies the robber's address, and they were able to arrest him, half-eaten pizza and all.

According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office, the robber ordered pizza Friday night and had it delivered to an apartment complex near Bridgeport Way and Chambers Creek Road. The suspect and an accomplice met the delivery driver outside the complex, shoved a gun against her leg, and took the pizzas, desert, and bread sticks.
Deputies asked Pizza Hut to run the robber's number to see if he was a repeat customer - sure enough, he had ordered food just four days earlier. When police went inside his apartment, they found empty Pizza Hut boxes and leftovers. He was so mortified, he confessed on the spot, police said.

"I messed up [my] life over eight bucks in pizza," he told the deputies, according to police.
Actually, it was $80 worth of pizza, according to a receipt police found in his apartment. The 20-year-old was booked on charges of first-degree robbery and first-degree assault.
