• Former Richwood student speaks about her experience with the 2016 flood and how her Band Teacher, Greg James, got them through it (wvnstv.com) — Students from flood-damaged Richwood schools continued classes in modular classrooms behind Beaver Elementary in Craigsville, where the sudden change made learning tough. Former student Makayla Woods recalls losing all band instruments in the 2016 flood, and how band director Greg James quickly secured donated replacements and kept students’ spirits up so they could still perform that July.
