ā¢ New York pauses new data centers, as West Virginia aims to accelerate AI development (wvnews.com) ā A massive 548-acre AI and data center campus is planned for Falling Waters, promising hundreds of construction jobs, more than 125 permanent positions, and significant new tax revenue. State leaders are aggressively courting such projects with new microgrid and permitting laws, even as New York temporarily halts new hyperscale data centers over environmental and grid concerns.
