• Brooke commission set to begin awarding of opioid funds (weirtondailytimes.com) — Brooke County commissioners are preparing to award more than $1.1 million in opioid settlement funds, and the City of Follansbee is among the applicants, seeking $21,850. Thirteen agencies and departments, including local police, fire, health, and treatment organizations, have requested over $2.3 million total, with first funding decisions expected in the next few weeks.
